Hello Monkeys,
On behalf of the MiniMonos team, I wanted to share with you the exciting news that all of us MiniMonos monkeys will be participating in Earth Hour 2011!
The purpose of Earth Hour is to raise awareness about how much energy we use each day. People from all around the world are asked to turn off lights and other electronics.
As New Zealand is the first country in the world to celebrate Earth Hour, MiniMonos will be participating in Earth Hour based on the New Zealand time zone!
This means that the MiniMonos servers will be switched off for one hour on Saturday, March 26 at 8.30pm in New Zealand.
In Monkey Standard Time, this is Saturday, March 26 at 12.30am!
While MiniMonos is switched off you could be asleep! If you're awake, you could read a book, play a board game by candlelight, go outside with your family for an evening walk, or you could do your EcoMonkey project!
